About Us

Mission & Vision

Africa Amini Alama’s first project, a dispensary, opened in 2010 and has treated thousands of patients. The current Healing Clinic emerged out of it and is now a separate independent unit  with an integrative medical approach, complementing traditional school medicine and natural healing remedies and techniques.

Since the start of our medical project, thanks to the support of donors and volunteers, numerous other educational and social projects have been implemented.

DDr. Christine Wallner and Mag. Dr. Cornelia Wallner-Frisee live and work on site. All our staff have a clear sense of responsibility within which they can learn and grow, as well as offer their skills to the organisation and communities.

Africa Amini Alama sees itself as a place of education, supporting more than 2500 children from underprivileged families.  In addition to imparting knowledge, we encourage creativity, independent thinking and warmth. We believe that education is one of the most important factors contributing to better health and a more prosperous life.  www.africaaminialama.con

Through Africa Amini Life and its tourism accommodation, we enable guests from all over the world to feel the fundamental power of Africa between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, to meet local people and to experience inner transformation. www.africaaminilife.com

If you would like to contribute to this project and become part of the Africa Amini Alama family, we would be delighted to welcome you –  as patient, guest, volunteer and supporter.

My Healing Journey

I’ve been fortunate to have a life filled with opportunities, including a strong, loving mother, a father who encouraged my freedom to grow, an international education, and a start in the world of finance. However, I soon felt a different calling and returned to study medicine. My interest was primarily in natural healing techniques, and in Austria, only a medical degree would grant me the right to work deeply with clients.

This decision marked a turning point. I developed a passion for exploring different cultures and embarked on a journey through my karmic past, discovering new healing techniques and the wisdom of our ancestors. This journey took me to India, Tibet, the Andes, the Amazon, and the African savannah. I was passionate about integrating these techniques to help others on their paths, as they had helped me maintain my health.

I had dreams of a perfect family and thought I had found my life’s love, feeling immense gratitude for being the mother of two wonderful children from this relationship. However, I soon realized I had to make a choice. A deep inner calling led me to start anew, this time as a single parent.

My true love and passion were in healing work – healing of the soul, emotions, and body. This decision initiated my own healing process, fostering a love for the people, plants and energy work. The journey had a deeper purpose and ultimately led me to Africa

For the past 12 years, I have lived at the foot of Kilimanjaro, among the Maasai and Meru people. I’ve been learning and living with them, offering support to women and children in need through medical aid, education, and emergency assistance. Running the NGO Africa Amini Alama and working as a natural healer, shamanic practitioner, and medical doctor has been both challenging and full of joy.
